The Museums + Heritage Awards has announced the launch of a new category for 2026, recognising the impact of the sector’s businesses, consultancies, and creative studios.
The ‘Business of the Year Award’ will be voted for by the sector, and will celebrate outstanding products and services that have made measurable contributions to the cultural sector. Shortlisted entries will be put to a sector-wide vote, providing exposure to thousands of museum and heritage professionals across the industry.
The eventual winner will also receive featured coverage on Museums + Heritage Advisor and will be offered a speaking opportunity at the Museums + Heritage Show. The ‘Business of the Year’ will be recognised for outstanding work, elevating clients’ ambitions, enabling innovation, and supporting the museums and heritage sector to thrive.
It is open to all businesses, from exhibition designers and digital specialists to conservation firms, retail suppliers, and strategic consultants.
Museums + Heritage Director Anna Preedy said: “This is a unique opportunity for businesses to showcase their expertise and demonstrate the real difference they make to museums and heritage organisations.”
“We’re looking for companies that help their clients innovate, engage audiences, and achieve their goals through creative design, smart strategy, technical excellence, or outstanding service.”
