Attendees at London’s Olympia in May can access demonstrations, expert sessions and networking opportunities with a single free registration to the 2025 Museums + Heritage Show
The Museums + Heritage Show returns in 2025, with a programme featuring demonstrations presented by experts in the field.
Scheduled at London’s Olympia from May 14-15, 2025, the Museums + Heritage Show will also include more than 70 sessions from industry experts, direct access to business exhibitors, and networking opportunities.
Among this year’s programmed demos is ‘Creating AI Alan Turing’, presented by AI developers 1956 Individuals. This demonstration, delivered on both days, details the company’s collaboration with Bletchley Park to develop a “faithful AI representation of the mathematician, which was first announced in 2024.
Also scheduled this year is a demo on augmented reality. ‘Using AR to improve engagement’ will be hosted by Sensecity, which will provide a workshop on AR applications for engagement in museums and heritage sites.
’Making Friends with Your Metals’ with Jenny Mathiasson at the Preservation Equipment Limited stand, will provide information on preventing metal corrosion in collections through storage, handling, and conservation techniques.
Covergold Limited, a supplier of book microfilm scanners and micrographics equipment, will hold a demonstration on its book scanner for digitisation projects with the ‘Bookeye 5 A2 Archive book scanner’, which has a self-adjusting book cradle and V-shaped glass plate.
The team from the Curio App will present the demonstration ‘Inform and Engage your visitors’, detailing how the app provides accessibility, information and engagement with your collections.
