To coincide with next month’s Remember A Charity Week, the Royal Air Force Museum is offering supporters who wish to leave a gift to the museum in their will a free legal service to formalise their commitment.

Regardless of a donation’s size, anyone wishing to pledge a gift to the institution in their will can do so for free courtesy of the museum’s partnership with accredited legal firm Bequeathed.

“Remember A Charity Week is the perfect opportunity to consider passing on something wonderful by leaving a gift in your will,” says Aimee Pitchford, RAF Museum’s legacy Manager.

“By leaving a gift in your will to the Royal Air Force Museum, your gift can reflect your own interests and passions, inspiring others through our collections and exhibitions as we continue to inspire everyone with the RAF story, the people who shape it and its place in our lives.”

Remember A Charity Week 2021 runs between 6th and 12th September, with the public awareness campaign connecting more than a thousand legal professionals with hundreds of charities seeking to attract legacy donations.

This latest RAF Museum fundraising drive follows several initiatives launched during a challenging period for the institution as a result of Covid. Its Adopt an Artefact programme enjoyed a successful first year and a corporate sponsorship scheme has also led to the establishment of several lucrative partnerships.
