Bridgerton star narrates audio tour at Holburne Museum

A new audio tour narrated by Lady Danbury actress has been made available at the historic museum

The Holburne Museum in Bath, known world-wide as the filming location for ‘Lady Danbury’s House’ in Bridgerton, has launched a new audio tour voiced by actor Adjoa Andoh who plays Lady Danbury in the Netflix series.

Andoh’s voice guides visitors around the museum, focusing on 12 objects in the collection which bring Georgian Bath to life. These include a portrait of Queen Charlotte, then aged 21, by painter Johan Zoffany. The Queen stayed on Sydney Place next to the museum when she came to Bath to take the waters in 1817.

Visitors to the Museum can download the audio tour from digitla Bloomberg Connects. The Holburne’s Bridgerton audio guide has been created with the support of Imagineear.

Chris Stephens, director of the museum, said it was “honoured to work with Adjoa Andoh, whose inimitable voice brings to life the remarkable history which surrounds us. We are proud of our association with Bridgerton which puts a 21st century spin on 18th century society.

“We’ve seen hundreds of visitors take a selfie outside the building and we hope this new audio tour will entice them inside to explore Bath’s Georgian past through our eclectic and beautiful historic collection.”
