Everyone in the sector now gets a chance to cast a vote for their favourite innovator, with a winner announced at the Museums + Heritage Awards in May 2023.
Votes are now being cast online for the inaugural ‘Innovator of the Year’ Award, the winner of which will be announced at the Museums + Heritage Awards 2023 in May.
While other Museums + Heritage Awards winners will be selected by an eight-strong independent judging panel, the ‘Innovator of the Year’ Award is the first to be put to a public vote.
The category was open to companies operating in the museums, heritage and cultural visitor attractions sector.

A shortlist of entries was selected, demonstrating a broad range of innovation through new technologies and ideas, all of which give the sector opportunities to save time and money, to grow audiences, gain new insight, and better protect their collections.
