GLAM Cares and Yorkshire Emerging Museum Professionals have partnered to create the ‘Moments of Joy’ lunchtime event for museum professionals.
Two sector organisations have partnered to create an online peer support network event, the ‘Moments of Joy Lunchbreak’.
GLAM Cares, a peer care and support network for community engagement staff and volunteers in galleries, libraries and museums, and YEMP (Yorkshire Emerging Museum Professionals) have together organised the ‘Moments of Joy’ event taking place over lunchtime.

The event, taking place on Monday 13th June from 1pm – 2pm, will see museum professionals logging on for supportive chat and mindfulness. Attendees are invited to bring their favourite museum object to share with the group.
YEMP said of the event: “We work so hard in the museum sector to look after our collections, our venues and our visitors. So take some time on a Monday lunchtime to look after yourself!”
