By Adrian Murphy

Hundreds of Edible Masterpieces have been been submitted to the Art Fund’s annual competition, which raises money for museums and galleries with participants pledging £10. The winners will be announced next Wednesday but before then here is a sneak peak of some of the entries

The Art Fund’s Edible Masterpieces is still open for entries and would-be participants can submit their entries until 11pm on Sunday 11 October here. Then on 13 October a panel of esteemed judges including Jonathan Jones, journalist and art critic for The Guardian, Rowley Leigh, chef, restaurateur and journalist, Frances Quinn, winner of the BBC’s Great British Bake Off 2013, and author of Quinntessential Baking, will pick the winners to be announced on Wednesday.

The Ultimate Edible Masterpiece of 2015 winner will receive a KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer, a Konditor & Cook Premium Kitchen Experience Day, What to Bake and How to BakeIt recipe book by Jane Hornby and a National Art Pass (valid for one year), and the ten runners up will receive goodie bags.
