Swiss Cottage

Swiss Cottage School takeover the British Museum

Children from Swiss Cottage School were at the British Museum taking on various roles such as checking tickets

Swiss Cottage School, Camden’s Key Stage 4: Nelson Mandela class paid a visit to the British Museum as part of Kids in Museums’ Takeover Day

Today we went to the British Museum and all 12 people in our class –six boys and six girls, took on roles such as checking the tickets for the exhibition and also greeting people at the entrance. We also said hello to the members who were visiting. We checkedtheir membership cards and scanned them. We liked ripping the ends of the tickets off. We were taking over a real job with real people. We would like to come back to the museum to look at all the galleries. We want to see objects from Africa and the Middle East. The Museum is very big and very cool!
