Shape the conversation at the Museums + Heritage Show 2026

The Museums + Heritage Show has opened its call for speakers for 2026, offering professionals from across the sector the chance to step onto the stage and help set the agenda for the year ahead.

Each year, the Show’s free talks programme draws thousands of attendees, there to hear new ideas, honest reflections and practical advice from peers.

that will inspire, challenge and equip colleagues working in museums, galleries and heritage organisations of every size and shape.

Sessions can cover everything from bold new approaches to collections and exhibitions, to digital innovation, sustainability, workforce skills, inclusion or community engagement. What matters most is that talks offer real-world lessons and insights that others can take away and apply.

“Some of the most popular sessions are those where people share what really worked, and even what didn’t,” said Museums + Heritage Show director Anna Preedy.

“This is a programme built by the sector, for the sector, and we’re excited to hear your ideas.”

All sessions are welcome, from large institutions sharing their flagship projects to freelancers with practical tips from the front line.

📅 Applications are now live via the Museums + Heritage Show website

The Museums + Heritage Show 2026 will once again be free to attend, bringing together thousands of cultural professionals to connect, learn and share.

Speakers have said about their sessions: “It was so great to speak at the show and to have so many people attend as well. Thanks for accepting our pitch to speak! I have nothing but praise for the team we worked with.”

“I really enjoyed my panel and had a great time as an attendee. I learned a lot and had some great chats with peers from across the sector, as well as the many stands.”

“I had a great experience at the Show. It was very clear that the presentations are a huge draw for people, and I feel honoured to have played a small part in that.”
