Michael Wade OBE joins as Chair of Trustees following completion of Past Forward project and reopening of transformed King’s House.
The Salisbury Museum has announced the appointment of Michael Wade OBE as its Chair of the Board of Trustees.
The museum, based in Wiltshire, houses a significant collection relating to Stonehenge and local archaeology. The museum is housed in The King’s House, a Grade I listed building.

“The museum acts as a catalyst to understanding and learning about English history on many different levels, and to appreciating what is so special and significant about this landscape, and the lives of the people who have shaped it,” said Wade.
Adrian Green, Director of the museum, said of the new appointment: “His extensive knowledge of the Salisbury area, as well as his professional career, will be of huge value to the museum as we review our recent successes and plan for delivering the next stage of our masterplan.’
