Freud Museum London appoints new director

The Freud Museum London has appointed a new director, Anna Jobson.

The new appointment is currently an independent strategist, with  over twenty-five years’ experience of working in the arts, culture and  education sectors.

Jobson has previously served as head of policy and planning at Tate, programme director at Arts Council England, and director of change at University of the Arts London.

Anna succeeds acting director Dan Feeney, who has led the museum since April 2025. Feeney will remain with the Museum as a ‘change consultant’ to support Jobson until the end of the year. Dr Guiseppe  Albano MBE concluded his three year tenure leading the museum  earlier this year.
