The agenda for this year’s Birmingham Heritage Week has now been announced, with more than 100 events to be held over 11 days throughout the city.
Aston Hall, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, and some of the historic buildings in Bournville are among the venues set to host events.
Birmingham Heritage Week is returning this September. The West Midlands city will once again be hosting a plethora of exhibitions, tours and open days designed to engage local residents and tourists alike with unique, lesser known heritage sites and stories.

Irene De Boo, Birmingham Heritage Week 2019 co-ordinator, said: “We’re back with a brilliant array of events for Birmingham Heritage Week 2019 and the listings are even easier to navigate on our website, so it’s the perfect time for visitors to start planning and filling up their diaries with exciting events.”

Some of the key events and venues at this year’s Birmingham Heritage Week include:
- The Baskerville Keyhill Cemetery Tour
- Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery’s Waterhall Gallery
- The historic buildings of Bournville
- The Lost Children by the Birmingham & Midland Institute
- Secret Gardens tour in Handsworth
- Aston Hall
- Ikon Gallery
Birmingham Heritage Week 2019 will take place between 12th and 22nd September and is made possible through support from Jewellery Quarter BID, Birmingham City Council, Birmingham Museums Trust and ScanTech Digital.
