About The Workhaus Project

We’re a passionate team of craftspeople, innovators & creative thinkers. Every day we help museum designers solve problems and create amazing & engaging spaces! We don’t think of our work as just fitting-out, we think of it as bringing creative visions to life.

At Workhaus we pride ourselves on the quality of our builds & our seamless service. All our exhibits are installed by the people who built them, this means each member of the Workhaus team takes care and pride over every project.

Museums, exhibitions and visitor centres are where we’ve spent years honing our skills. We work with designers every day, blending skilled hand-finishing with technical expertise. No other museum contractor has so many skills all under one roof! Our expertise include design, joinery, metal fabrication, props, models, sculpture, spray finishing, interactives, solid surface, display cases and mount making. This gives us total control over quality, budget and time.

The approach our skilled Project Managers take is one of creative problem solvers able to combine construction and set works with bespoke, high quality displays and furniture, alongside physical models, interactives and display cases. Through our trusted sub-contractors, we can also provide ancillary products such as stunning graphics and innovative digital media.

Our modern production facility houses state-of-the-art Computer Aided Design, Rapid prototyping and CNC machines alongside a diverse team of time served ‘traditional’ crafts people.

Whichever direction your project develops, you can be certain that Workhaus has the skills and experience to provide the solutions you need, on time and on budget.
