At Workhaus Projects, we believe museums and heritage spaces should do more than just inform, they should inspire. Our passion lies in transforming stories into spaces that spark curiosity, connection and wonder.
Blending traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, our team creates exhibitions, galleries and displays that are as robust as they are beautiful. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do; working hand-in-hand with curators, designers and partners to ensure every project reflects the ambition, personality and unique story of the space.
Our track record speaks for itself. Eureka! Science + Discovery showcased our ability to deliver on a grand scale, from intricate interactives and AV to large-scale joinery, graphics and scenic theming; all underpinned by meticulous workshop planning. Meanwhile, our work on the V&A Dundee’s Tartan exhibition proved that creativity and sustainability go hand in hand: over 90% of setworks found a second life, either reused or repurposed for future projects.
We also bring history to life in more intimate, immersive ways. For the Coronation Street Experience, our team meticulously surveyed and handcrafted iconic sets, from tiled café floors to bespoke fittings, so visitors could step straight into Weatherfield with authenticity at every turn.
From national museums and major galleries to heritage sites across the UK and beyond, our portfolio is as diverse as it is ambitious: immersive temporary shows, permanent gallery refurbishments, bespoke display cases, interactives, scenic builds and more. Whatever the scale, our approach never wavers – craftsmanship and care at every stage.
Proudly based in Yorkshire, we support clients nationwide and internationally. With a fully equipped workshop and a multi-skilled team, Workhaus Projects continues to be a trusted partner for organisations seeking to create inspiring, sustainable and unforgettable spaces for their audiences.
