We shipped our first order on 13th January 1987. Nearly forty years later, unbelievable I know, we have retained Spike Leisurewear’s independence and are not financially linked to any worldwide conglomerate or generic clothing brand. Today, we continue to do what we have always done best – design, source, print and distribute quality, innovative t-shirts to our many valued customers throughout the UK. Our focus is our customers, their needs and the best value we can possibly offer.
Our markets are the heritage and souvenir sectors, our strengths are quality of design and excellent service. We have also learnt the art of listening and being able to offer our customers exactly what they want, rather than what we think they should want! That doesn’t mean we don’t interreact or aren’t pro-active – we are definitely both – but aim to create two-way, long-term relationships.
We are frequently asked to develop customised t-shirts and apparel for prime retail heritage outlets such as The Tower of London, Canterbury Cathedral and London Transport Museum – this is a major part of our business and we are particularly good at it. Mail order companies and of course many independent gift outlets throughout the UK continue to be regularly serviced with new and innovative ranges.
Apart from bespoke work, we hold apparel licences for several very strong British brands, including The Beatles, Paddington Bear, Doctor Who, Mr Bean, Dad’s Army and The Beano. We also have lovely collections of souvenir t-shirts for London, Scotland, Oxford, Cambridge, Liverpool and many other regions of the UK.
Whilst t-shirts continue to be our main product, we also supply hoodies, sweatshirts, polos, socks and children’s & baby t-shirts.
If you are thinking of developing new t-shirts, updating old designs or just want a fresh approach, why not give us a call? What have you got to lose? Just bring us your ideas and we will turn them into reality!
