Contract: July 2025 – May 2026

Location: Remote with travel to North Herefordshire, near Presteigne LD8 2LL for appropriate site working to facilitate project management and delivery
Summary:

An opportunity enabled by funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund in order to develop a comprehensive 15-year masterplan for a vibrant and resilient future for our rural arts charity across two heritage sites in the beautiful landscape of the Welsh Marches.
About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a Masterplanning Consultant to develop a comprehensive 15-year masterplan for the development of the Trust, its two sites, and audiences. This work will include audience and stakeholder consultation, market analysis, options appraisals for varied site development and future use potential and development of a business case and feasibility report including costed financial modelling.

Candidates will have experience of significant heritage projects funded by the National Heritage Lottery Fund including capital development, heritage restoration, and working with sites with environmental and landscape dimensions. You should be skilled in managing complex multi-faceted projects, change management and working with a wide range of stakeholders and partners.

Role Requirements:
The consultant is expected to have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:
• The development of Masterplans for significant heritage projects funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, including capital development and restoration works, project management, fundraising, and change management
• Extensive experience of managing complex multi-faceted projects
• Preparing summative reports throughout and at the end of a large capital project
• Experience of designing programmes within the heritage sector and environmental sectors
• Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
