Contract: July 2025 – May 2026

Location: North Herefordshire, near Presteigne LD8 2LL for appropriate site working to facilitate project management and delivery with some flexible remote working

Summary:
An opportunity enabled by funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for a project support role as we work to develop a comprehensive 15-year masterplan for a vibrant and resilient future for our rural arts charity across two heritage sites in the beautiful landscape of the Welsh Marches.

Role Description:

We are looking for a Project Delivery Coordinator to provide project management, administration, and delivery support across all strands of the project activity. The role includes contractor liaison and management, working with the project team to plan, coordinate and deliver of pilot engagement activities and audience consultation, tracking key performance indicators including budget monitoring, and reporting to the project team and Heritage Fund.

Candidates should have extensive project management and delivery experience including administration, reporting and public-facing engagement and consultation. You will be proactive and self-directed, a confident and effective communicator, and bring skills in budget management and marketing.

Role Requirements:
• Extensive project management and delivery experience, and a proven track record of producing project documentation to a high standard
• Experience of working within the heritage and culture sectors, including the delivery of projects funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and ideally within the environmental sector
• Experience of developing project budgets, cashflow and communications strategies
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills in person and in writing

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide project management and delivery support, including contractor and stakeholder liaison/management
• Work with the project team on planning, co-ordinating and supporting delivery of on-site and outreach activities for consultation strands and piloting new activity
• Produce a project timeline for the activities and monitor and report on progress
• With the project team set and track key performance indicators including engagement; undertake regular reporting to the Heritage Fund, SNT Director and Trustees
• Oversee, monitor all aspects of compliance and H&S for the project activity, keeping appropriate records
• Manage and monitor project budget; implement systems for financial processing/record keeping liaising with staff and Trust accountants as appropriate
• Monitoring and updating the risk register – escalating any concerns as appropriate
• Work with the SNT team to undertake and support volunteer recruitment
• Support to plan and deliver project communications
