Series 22 contestants improvised museum tours for interview task videos filmed at London Museum of Water & Steam.
The London Museum of Water & Steam has become a central venue for new contestants to Channel 4’s upcoming series of Taskmaster.
In the run-up to the new series, contestants from Series 22 were filmed completing a task which involved an impromptu, improvised tour of the museum and its exhibits as part of their introductory videos.
Channel 4’s Series 22 features comedians Chloe Petts, Isy Suttie, Matt Lucas, Nina Conti and Richard Ayoade. Several of its location-based tasks in the upcoming series are reportedly also shot on-site at the Brentford museum.
Ahead of the launch, the show’s YouTube channel has been releasing “Interview Task” videos.
Host Alex Horne asked contestants to play tour guide, improvising museum facts and commentary about whatever they pass.
The full series begins on Channel 4 on 3 September 2026, with the interview task videos already live on the official Taskmaster YouTube channel.
The choice of venue continues a recent pattern of museums and heritage venues for the show. Series 21, which aired earlier this year, used Hampton Court Palace for several of its outdoor features.
Last year, English Heritage announced a collaboration with the television programme to deliver entertainment activities across 17 heritage sites during the summer period.
