The bath bomb celebrate’s the two Poole brands as Poole Museum reopens.
Poole Museum has revealed a collaboration with cosmetics company Lush, first founded and based in Poole, Dorset.
Lush created a bespoke bath bomb designed exclusively for the museum, celebrating the opening of the museum last month to conclude its £10m redevelopment.
The bath bomb features Poole Museum’s logo in blue and white. One of its ingredients, seaweed, was originally sourced locally from Poole Harbour.
It has been put on sale in the museum shop, and is also on display in the new Harbour Life Gallery in a timeline cabinet.
Jaine Fitzpatrick, Interim Director of Poole Museum, said the partnership “brings together two of Poole’s most recognisable institutions”.
“We are committed to working with local businesses and artists to create meaningful, memorable experiences for everyone. The bath bomb is more than just a product, it’s a symbol of pride in our culture, and a beautiful way to connect our past with the present.”
Councillor Millie Earl, Leader of BCP Council – which owns and operates Poole Museum – said the collaboration “celebrates the shared heritage and identity of our town, and it’s a fantastic way to mark the museum’s transformation and give residents and visitors something truly unique to enjoy.”
